About the Where Peace Lives logo
Designed
by Anthony Crouchelli of Lodi, New Jersey, the logo was designed to reflect
a world view on having all people live in harmony with one another and
be nurtured by our common goal of peace for all people. Tony explains,
"The Peace Sign is such an emotional symbol. It says so much about
the era that it is associated with. Peace and Love was a dominant theme
in the 1960's that this symbol is synonymous with.
This feeling also spilled over into the 1970's. The political landscape has changed from that time when the peace sign was created. I think today the Peace Sign means something other then its original meaning as a symbol of "Nuclear Disarmament". It is my feeling that the symbol needed to be updated to today's ideas of Peace and Love. Where Peace Lives is a perfect example of what those ideas are in a new century. Peace starts and grows within the individual and it is the sharing from others that will further it more so than any government."
