Where Peace Lives Mission and Core Values

Our Mission
Where Peace Lives teaches children to deal with conflict and aggressive behavior in a positive way through art and media.

The International Peace Mural Exchange Program was developed for children and young adults to create and exchange murals depicting peace. The process teaches children how to resolve conflict in a positive way.  The intention is to reduce aggressive behaviors and give children and young adults the tools to mediate tense situations. During the project, they will learn negotiation techniques and leadership skills. It will train young people to see how visual communication can and does impact cultural understanding by creating a new conversation for peace in the world.
